Australian girls abbandon synthetical field alltogether, exhausted and wet, but smiling after the comfortable 4-0 whith which they won Corea on the first friendly preparatory match of the journey. Among them, two purple heroins: goalkeepers Rachael Lynch and Ashlee Welsh, obliged to support humidity and an intense heat inside their enormous protective armors. Nevertheless, they don't seem to be worried about it.
"We are used to wear all this on. At Perth, where we train, we have a very similar heat. That's why we didn't have problems to get used to it", Lynch assured, and revealed that Amerian hotel gave them a special room for their pompous uniforms.
With enthusiasm because of the "Hockeyroos" performance over the Asian team, Lynch said that "we feel very well on the field. We played a good match and could make four goals. But the most important thing for me is that they make no goals to us", affirmed the blonde girl, who switched the custody of the goal line with Welsh.
Having surpassed the brief adaptation period to timetables, the Australian girls like the Province. "We love Tucumán, everybody treats us great, at the hotel or wherever we go. People is very kind here", considered Rachael, without never stop smiling. "By the moment we concentrate in training. There are few days left for the beginning of the tournment, so I'm a little anxious", confessed the player before joining the rest of the team.
At Corea's side, there were not much to celebrate. Over the impressive defeat, there was discomfort for the noise of operaries working at the iron structures that cover the main tribune. And, added to this, during the first time, player Kim Yong Eun bent her ankle and had to be assisted by the medical team.
